Dr. Jack Hyles

Founder

Dr. Jack Frasure Hyles was born on September 25, 1926, to Willis and Coystal Hyles in Italy, Texas. After moving to southwest Dallas, he attended the Fernwood Baptist Church. It was at the Fernwood Baptist Church at the age of 11 that he trusted Christ for his salvation and was later baptized. Read the full biography→

Dr. James Woosley

High School Principal

Dr. James Woosley and his wife, Leah, both attended and graduated from Hammond Baptist Schools. After graduating from Hyles-Andesron College in 1994, he taught math and science under Dr. Tom Vogel at Hammond Baptist Junior High for ten years. In 2002, James became the Assistant Principal at Hammond Baptist Junior High, and in 2004 he became the principal. James now serves as the assistant superintendent of Hammond Baptist Schools and is the principal of Hammond Baptist High School. Dr. and Mrs. Woosley have 6 children.

Jim Vogel

Junior High Principal

Mr. Jim Vogel is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Tom Vogel. He attended Hammond Baptist Schools from junior kindergarten until he gradated from high school. Mr. Vogel now serves as the principal of Hammond Baptist Junior High. Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Danielle) Vogel are both Hammond Baptist graduates and Hyles-Anderson College alumni.

Fred Singleton

Grade School Assistant Principal

Mr. Fred Singleton attended Hyles-Anderson College, graduating with his B.S. degree in 2002. He and his wife Heather have been married for 15 years and have three boys in Hammond Baptist Schools. He was asked to become the assistant principal of Hammond Baptist Grade School in 2009. Mr. Singleton and his family have been a part of First Baptist Church for fourteen years.
